OH. MY. GOD. My dad told me that they recently legalized bowhunting in the small Missouri village I grew up in. I was horrified. He said it's to help control the deer population, and that it's better than rifle hunting because guns are more dangerous because the bulet of a gun can go so much farther than an arrow. It still sounded really dangerous to me. I'm tempted to send that link to him, but I think that might antagonize him too much. And I wouldn't want to antagonize my parents just now; I still want that diamond ring for Christmas.
