If you happen to be riding in your friend's brand-new Mazda, it is in your best interest to put a lid on any drinks you bring with you. This will avoid the embarassment of having to clean the drink off of your friend's leather seats after he swerves to avoid the 107 year old, half-blind, elderly driver of a 1960's era Cadillac.
So, um, anybody know of a good way to get Coke off my leather seats? :-(
This site says to use undiluted white vinegar w/in 24 hours, though it doesn't specify on leather. (http://206.61.210.104/solidwaste/modrisk/home_sz.html) I'd put some on a non-colored sponge and try a small spot test in an inconspicuous area first! Another site suggested club soda, but again didn't specify for leather. I have a feeling the vinegar would be the more powerful choice.

In his brand spanking new Lexus IS300 -- white with cream leather interior. Needless to say, the trip home involved stopping by a gas station after crossing the bridge over Pontchartrain to hose off the pretty new car. Best of luck!
