For the 1 millionth fucking time, you moron, it is NOT a problem with the VPN. It works. I downloaded the damn client, used YOUR userid and password (that you swore didn't work), and logged in. Don't tell me that "something must have been changed" because we don't make random, fucking changes. Dipshit!

And yes, I do feel better now.

That's weird, because my boss had a problem with VPN last night. Unfortunately, I wasn't on my work laptop to confirm he had the settings right.
... Oh, I'm just trying to sound smart. I don't barely know what VPN does, I just open it and type in my password. ;)

Do they, like, have a course for you IT guys on what to say to the morons that are so often your client?

Because I can't tell you how many times I've heard my brother say, almost word for word, exactly what you vented in your post! (And it usually makes him feel better, too.)

Those of us non-IT people who do actually have a clue what to do with our systems -- all three of us -- salute you and sympathize.

Okay....all you fucking IT guys sound the same. It is never your fault. Always the "user community". I guess you IT folks are just too damn smart for the rest of the world.
