Help Desk du Jour

I can't make this stuff up...

My mouse squeaks constantly (so that others complain about the noise!). I gave to X the other day to look at and see if there was a way to stop the noise.

Suggestions?

Solution: Remove user from computer.

tell user to leave pet mouse at home, this way mouse can squeak all it wants without disturbing anyone.

How can a mouse squeak? Give him or her an optical mouse - I can't see how one of those could squeak.

1. Ditch the mouse and use a glidepoint. :-)
2. Clean the tracking ball and the rollers.
